A young Nigerian medical doctor who recently returned to Nigeria from Asia for an exchange program was reportedly shot dead in Enugu over the weekend.
The young man, identified as Evarastus, was shot dead by unknown gunmen and his car taken away in an area known as Four Corners in Enugu state.
It was gathered that the deceased was driving in his Lexus 350 when he was attacked by the gunmen, who shot him twice in his chest and fled the scene in his car.
Friends have flocked to Twitter to express their grief and demand that justice be served.
In related news, a Nigerian couple were slain on their way to their wedding in Imo state, turning what was supposed to be a joyous day into a tragic one.
According to viral reports, the couple, both military personnel, were attacked by unknown gunmen on the way to the venue for their wedding.
It was gathered that the groom , a warrant officer was compulsorily retired ahead of his wedding to the female junior officer.
A military source disclosed that the couple were beheaded and their private parts mutilated.
However, a man confessed to killing the soldiers and two others in a viral phone conversation. He claimed the soldiers had been killing innocent people and he had “eaten these ones” in revenge.
