Over 10,000 students failed post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.
As reported by Punch, At least 10, 293 candidates failed to score 200 marks and above in the institution’s post-UTME test.
This was made known in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the university, Mr. Abiodun Olarewaju.
According to him, the results were released on Saturday barely six hours after the conduct of the exercise on the website of the institution.
“Out of about 20, 631 candidates, who sat for the screening, 10, 338 candidates scored 200 marks and above. This signifies about 58 per cent, specifically 57.08 per cent,” Olarewaju said on Sunday.
