The Government of Lagos State has confirmed 19 new Coronavirus cases in the state.
The State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, made this known via his Twitter page on Friday.
The commissioner’s tweet reads ;
#COVID19LAGOS update as at 16th of April, 2020
*️⃣19 new confirmed cases of #COVID19 Infection recorded in Lagos on the 16th of April
*️⃣This brings the total number of confirmed #COVID19Lagos cases to 254
*️⃣5 fully recovered #COVID19 patients were discharged
