The plane carrying 500 Nigerians deported from the United Kingdom has arrived at Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos.
A total of 500 Nigerians who were deported from the United Kingdom have arrived the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, this Wednesday morning, November 25.
Many of them were said to have been deported for illegal stay permits. When interviewed, one of them said he was arrested by British police and was not allowed to even take his belongings before being deported.
UK government plans to deport 29,000 Nigerians.
It was gathered that some of the deportees who claimed not to have relatives in Nigeria are stranded in the airport.
