Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has said that, 90 per cent of people are either trying to impress their followers or get followers. It’s not only in Ghana but everywhere.
The actress who sat for an interview with Adom News’ Sandra Akapko, stated that 90% of people on social media live fake lives.
She also added that the flashy lifestyle people portray on social media are all fake, added that it’s not only in Ghana but everywhere. Yvonne Nelson added that people who put themselves on pressure luxuries of other people are only worrying themselves unnecessarily, as 90% of people on social media live fake lives.
She said;
“90 per cent of people are either trying to impress their followers or get followers. It’s not only in Ghana but everywhere”.
“You can see someone on social media in a private jet but the person may be a musician shooting a music video or the plane may not be moving, but people see it and think about all the luxuries they don’t have.
“It’s all a lie, social media is all about the fake life so people shouldn’t follow all the glitz and glam on social media,” she stated.
This is coming weeks after the Ghanaian actress promised never to date Nigerian men. Yvonne Nelson who talked about her failed relationship with Nigerian singer Iyanya and her breakup with her baby daddy, Jamie Roberts, disclosed that her post about being single and searching was ignored because people thought she was joking.
“You mean my post? No! No! No one reached out to me…maybe they don’t believe me. It is what it is. I am looking for one. In fact get me one in Ghana” she said.
Moving on from the disclosure, Yvonne Nelson who promised never to date a Nigerian man said:
“As for Nigerian men I am done,”.
