A Brooklyn man is charged with MURDER – after he brutally murdered the person who his estranged wife was dating. It turns out, his wife’s new lover was a female.
Alwasi Tyson, 35, was ordered held without bail and put on suicide watch at his arraignment in Brooklyn. He is expected to be charged with murder.
Alwasi and his wife were separated, and she began dating a woman – 22-year-old Toni Cox. On Saturday night, Alwasi decided to confront Toni – with a deadly weapon.
Police say that Toni was partying in a sixth-floor apartment, four floors above her own place when Tyson allegedly confronted her.
His children, ages 16, 13, 12 and 11, watched as he hit and kicked Cox and stabbed her in the chest, according to a criminal complaint.
Toni was pronounced dead at the scene.
