In a video clip that has gone viral on social media, Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, was seen preaching alongside an interpreter, where he promised that he would not finish his term in debt of salaries.
He said that God will make a way for him to pay workers’ salaries “at an appointed time”.
Just after he placed a ban on all students’ activities and public procession in the state, a statement explained that it was to forestall the gathering of cultists, who want to embark on public procession on Thursday.
He said:
God will make a way for me to pay workers’ salaries at an appointed time,
the Lord will make a way at the appointed time.
