Nigerian female music sensation, Tiwa Savage has been listed among the BBC’s 2017 list for the Most Inspiring and Innovative women in the world.
The lovely singer was profiled as,
Singer, songwriter and philanthropist Tiwa Savage is an intergral member of the Afrobeats scene and plans to open a music school.
She’s listed the among the likes of Liberian president, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet and other women who have made their marks in the world.
Tiwa Savage has in light of this, reacted to this on her IG page. She shared:

Don’t let being a woman hinder you, I have and still have to fight to get people to respect and appreciate my work and not limit me because I am female so this really encourages me to keep pushing and breaking boundaries
