Big Brother Naija reality show is one of the biggest platform for talented Nigerians to ”sell their market” to the world and that cannot be over-emphasized.
The reality show is highly coveted among young Nigerians because it has literally turned many unknown talents into stars
However, while the show has produced some of the leading names in Nigeria’s thriving entertainment industry, quite a handful of them who made the show and back have swung into oblivion.

1. Kelvin “K.Brule” Brouillette
K – Brule (pronounced Kay brew lay) was the ultimate light-skin of the 2018 edition of the reality show. His stay in the house was however short as he was ejected on the 21st day after receiving three strikes from Biggie. He has ventured into the music industry and with time, his songs should be dominating the airwaves.
2. Patrick Fakoya ”Rico Swavey”
Another handsome light skinned young man in the 2018 edition, Rico had a wonderful run in the Big Brothe Naija house and his funny facial expressions turned him into a wonderful material for social media memes. He’s currently chasing a career acting and modeling.
3. Bitto Bryan Arumun
Bitto was popular for his hunky figure and was often referred as a ‘big brother’ in Big Brother’s house. During his time in the house, his ‘eggplant’ became famous because of the size it grows to especially when he tries to console a female housemate. According to a post on his facebook page, he is a TV host, Compere, Radio presenter, voice over artiste, actor, broadcaster, hype man, Master of Ceremony, amongst others.
4. Angel Awotarigha
Angel Awotarigha is a filmmaker and music lover from Bayelsa state who often gets mistaken for a famous Nigerian personality. He spent 36 days in the Big Brother Naija house. The actor legally married his Canadian model girlfriend, Felicia, recently in a registry in Port Harcourt, Rivers state in a quiet wedding ceremony on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
5. Somadina “Soma” Anyama
Soma appeared on Big Brother Naija in 2017. He’s had a modest career since his time on the reality show and he has released some songs with ‘liquor’ being the most successful.
6. Adedayo “Dee-One” Adewunmi
Dee-one prides himself as the first comedian be a big brother naija housemate where he lasted 21 days. He’s happily married although it almost caused controversy for him during his time in the house.

Bally was already a modest Disc Jockey before he garnered popularity as one of the housemates of the Big Brother Naija 2017 reality game show.
8. Lolu
The brilliant Lolu had a long run in the house as he survived 26 nominations but was finally evicted on the 77th day (Final Week). He’s lived lowkey life with his loyal fans still keeping tabs on him via his social media page. He’s currently chasing a career in TV and Radio.
9. Katung Aduwak
Katung was 26 years old when he won the inaugural edition of BBNaija going home with the prize money (then $100,000).
Shortly after winning reality show, Katung went on to study filmmaking at the Digital Film Academy in New York. After 7 years, Katung who has been privileged to work with top organisations is currently pursuing his passion for film making.
10. Frank Konwea
Frank was one of the pioneer contestants in the Nigerian edition of the reality show.
After leaving the BBNaija house, he continued his career as a professional dancer, performing at several shows and concerts.
He was also a judge on a popular dance TV show
