The Nigerian Super Eagles have taken to her verified Twitter page to unveil the new 2020-2022 Nike designed football kits.
The new kits includes new collections of jerseys, shots, socks, training gear, boots and balls supplied by American sports kit manufacturing company, Nike.
It was learnt that the Nigeria 2020 home football shirt will have a bolder design than the previous ones, and would feature a print that can also be seen on the poncho from the collection.
The new patterns covers almost the entirety of the new Nigeria 2020 home shirt and was hand-drawn and has it’s idea from the traditional Nigerian Agbada robes.
The new kits shares some similarity with the new England shirt, the Nike logo and federation badge sit centrally on the chest of country’s home shirt and has “Naija” written on the inside neck as well as the back of the socks.
Recall that the 2018 world cup jersey was voted the best jersey out of the 32 nations that participated in the year’s world cup.
In a poll conducted by Sky Sports, the Nigerian shirt garnered over 40,000 votes to beat world champions Germany to second place with 21,000 votes.
It will be recalled that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Nike who are their official kits sponsor unveiled the official 2018 World Cup kits for the Super Eagles in London on February 7th, 2018 to much fanfare.
