Nigerian activist and #EndSARS front-liner, Aisha Yesufu has revealed that she has been receiving several death threats from unknown persons.
Taking to Twitter, the 46-year-old Kano born activist while reacting to the death threat revealed that she’s not scared of death, hence the attacker should try something else.
According to her the pandemic thought her that everyone would eventually die and tomorrow is not promised for anyone.
In her words,
“For real someone threatened me?! With death? Same death that is almost dozen for one kobo? Haven’t the pandemic taught them anything? We are all going to die and it can be TODAY! Killing me means I have seriously dealt with you! I was born to die! Try something else!”.
Meanwhile Aisha has also warned her critics to leave the North of it when insulting her.
“Biko, insult me and leave the North out of it. I am not a Northerner. That I am called Aisha and wear hijab doesn’t mean I am a Northerner. Just like wearing kippah & tallit doesn’t mean you are from Israel. So stop being unfortunate and insulting the North. Focus on me.” She tweeted.
