Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwo, has taken to social media to mourn the death of her friend and colleague, Rachel Oniga.
It was earlier reported that the celebrated actress died from COVID-19 complications on Friday, July 30.
Rachel’s unexpected death has thrown the entire Nollywood industry into mourning and her friend, Ozokwo, is still in disbelief over her passing.
In the heart wrenching video she shared, Patience is seen weeping profusely as she revealed that she wasn’t aware of the actress’ illness.
According to her, the last time they spoke was on the set of Chief Daddy 2 and Rachel’s last words to her was “don’t forget me ooo”.
She captioned the video,
My heart is broken 💔
We planned so many things we were going to do together. Her last words to me ‘Don’t forget me oooh’ and I said ‘NEVER’
