Popular Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade recently linked up with British singer, Ed Sheeran, at the just-concluded Earthshot Prize awards ceremony in London, and she shared photos and video from their meeting on her official social media page.
During their conversation, the age-long debate about which is better between Ghanaian jollof and Nigerian jollof ensued between the International music stars.
In the video she shared, Ed Sheeran revealed that he thinks he prefers Ghanaian jollof to Nigerian jollof. He however noted that he has never been to Nigeria so he is yet to taste Nigerian jollof rice.
Yemi Alade seemed disappointed by his choice but she pointed out that Ghanaians have not won the battle since the British singer has not tasted the famous Nigerian jollof.
She wrote,
“So @teddysphotos Started arguing about Ghanaian and Nigerian jollof 😆😅🤣😂(he hasn’t eaten Nigerian jollof yet oo ,the battle hasn’t been won)”
