Nigerian human rights activist, Reno Omokri, has advised against helping poor men who are married with many children.
The former presidential aide, in a post shared via his Twitter handle this morning, said men who are poor and yet married with many kids need to suffer to be a lesson to other people in their ‘class’.
According to him, people need to stop justifying helping such people to help them learn and know better than to have kids they can’t cater for.
“Stop justifying giving help to a poor man because he has a wife and many kids. Let him suffer! Such a man needs to suffer, so that other people see him suffer and learn not to have kids they can’t cater for. Or we will have MORE of such in society, if you help them
If you keep helping men for the sole reason that they are poor and have many kids, their mentality will be: born as you like, God will use people to help you train them. Your ‘kindness’ feeds that mentality, and creates a population explosion leading to insecurity!” Reno tweeted.
Meanwhile, Nigerian music video director and cinematographer, TG Omori, has said people should do away with cameras when helping the needy.
Omori, who stated this in a tweet on Tuesday, May 17, while addressing several societal issues, said acts of giving or helping the poor shouldn’t be publicized.
