Nigerian LGBTQ rights activist, Edafe Okporo has tied the knot with his lover, Nick Giglio, in New York, America.
The US-based writer and public speaker who was born and raised in Warri, Delta state, got engaged to his white lover last year and they’ve now gotten married officially.
Edafe took to his social media pages to announce news of their marriage along with photos from the wedding ceremony.
“We Official Mr & Mr. 07-16-22. Blissful New York romance. Happily married.” he wrote.

In other news, Popular gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi, recently took to his social media page to mark his 18th year of living with HIV.
Reminiscing on how he discovered that he had the virus in a post shared on his Instagram page, Bisi disclosed that he was ashamed of his HIV status for years before he embraced and became vocal about it
According to him, HIV doesn’t kill but the stigma, shame and discrimination meted on people living with HIV is what kills.
