American rapper, Rakim Hasheem Allen, popularly known as PnB Rock, has been shot and killed in Los Angeles.
The rapper, who was just 30, was shot dead at a restaurant in South Los Angeles during a robbery attempt on him on Monday afternoon, September 12.
According to The Times, the shooting occurred around 1pm at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ’N Waffles as the rapper was “being robbed of his jewelry.”
A graphic video circulating on social media shows the rapper fighting for his life on the floor of the restaurant. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at a hospital at exactly 1:59 pm.
Giving an account of the incident, the Los Angeles Police Capt. Kelly Muniz,
“The victim was sitting at a table eating with a female witness when he was approached by the suspect.
“The suspect then brandished a firearm and demanded his property The suspect then fired multiple rounds and then appears to remove some property, to what extent we don’t know at this time.”
Muniz further disclosed that the suspect “shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot.”
A source who spoke to TMZ said the rapper may have been targeted by the shooter because no one else was assaulted or shot in the restaurant.
Meanwhile, it was gathered that the rapper’s girlfriend and mother of his 2-year-old daughter Xuri, Stephanie Sibounheuang, posted their live location on her Instastory before the incident occurred, but deleted the post shortly afterwards.
