An African lady living in Australia has gone online to narrate how she ended up getting married to a man she blocked on social media.
The lady, in a video she posted on TikTok, said her husband, then stranger, used to bombard her with messages on Instagram in 2016 and she had to block him because he was becoming a nuisance.
Fast forward to 2017, they met for the first time at a friend’s wedding where she was a bridesmaid and he was a groomsman. There she realized that he was handsome and they became friends.
She said he asked her to be his girlfriend three months later and she gave him a chance. He however moved from Melbourne to Tasmania, forcing them to be in a long-distance relationship.
To make it work, they decided to be paying monthly visits to each other which worked for them until COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020 and the whole world was on lockdown so they couldn’t travel to visit each other anymore.
She then discovered that she was pregnant for him while she was living under her parent’s roof, and she couldn’t visit him due to the pandemic.
Four months into the lockdown, her friends took her out on a date, unknown to her that it was a surprise and her boyfriend flew down from Tasmania to propose to her. They tied the knot shortly after and have now welcomed their first child together.
In conclusion, the lady told her fellow women that their husband might be in their blocked list.
