Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, has taken to social media to reflect on her life before stardom.
In a post via her Twitter handle on Monday, the 20-year-old Mavin signee, who has made a name for herself in the Nigerian music industry, recalled how she started her career.
She noted that two years ago she was just a girl from Agbado Ijaiye in Lagos State and expressed her joy at how far she’s come in such a short time.
The self-proclaimed Sabi girl went on to say that she has no idea how she will react when her hit song Rush reaches 100 million views on YouTube.
The song has so far racked up 96 million views, one of the highest viewing totals for a Nigerian artiste.
“I really don’t even know what I’m gonna do when rush hits a 100 mil on YouTube, do I cry , do I jump ?? God, 2 years ago I was just a small girl from Agbado ijaiye,” she wrote.
