Popular Nigerian businesswoman, Laura Ikeji, has received harsh criticism on social media over her latest Instagram post.
The mother of two and fashion blogger had taken to her Instagram page on Mother’s Day to share a photo of herself and her children to celebrate herself and other mothers around the world.
In the photo, Laura donned a blue bikini while being flanked by her beautiful children by the poolside.
“Happy Mothers Day to me, my mom, my sisters and all the mothers round the world. God bless us all.” She captioned the photo.

However, her choice of outfit in the photo didn’t seem to sit well with some Nigerians on social media.
The critics noted that posing in just bikini in front of kids was inappropriate. They went as far as making suggestive remarks about Laura’s son’s look in the photo.
An Instagram user @testimonyunusual wrote, “See how the innocent boy is watching his mum’s nakedness… sorry my boy. Happy mother’s Day to all mothers. We can do better in front of our children oo”
Another user, @shekinatus wrote, “Just look at what ur posting on mother’s day in front of your kids ..I fear una oohh”
