There is currently more love and less ego in the music industry as superstar singer, Wizkid, encourages his fans to listen to his colleague, Davido’s new album, ‘Timeless’.
Recall that Davido finally released his much-anticipated album today after his 6-months social media hiatus, following the tragic death of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Well, in a rather unexpected development, Wizkid took to his official Instagram and Twitter pages to urge his followers to stream the album.
He posted the album cover and wrote, “Inside!! Y’all go listen to timeless by my brother @Davido ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥.”
Only 24 hours after its release, the long-awaited album has been streamed over six million times on Boomplay and topped the charts across multiple streaming platforms.

Fans, followers, and colleagues alike had been anticipating the release of singer Davido’s fourth studio album, “Timeless,” since he gave the release date as March 31 following his return to social media a few days ago.
However, only hours before the release date, Davido’s colleague, Wizkid’s baby mama, Jada P, who doubles as his manager, took to Twitter to promote his “More Love, Less Ego” album, which was released in November last year.
This did not sit well with fans and followers of 30 BG boss Davido, who immediately called her out and dragged her to shreds for the tweet.
