A video of the adorable conversation between sensational Nigerian singer, Simi, and her two-year-old daughter, Adejare, has gone viral online.
The ‘duduke’ crooner was captured having a chat with her daughter when the little girl suddenly screamed her name ‘Simisola’ which many would consider disrespectful in this part of the world.
Simi, who is happily married to singer Adekunle Gold, was taken aback by her daughter’s utterance and queried her for calling her by her first name, asking “Who’s your mate?”.
After much back and forth between the mother-daughter duo, Adejare retracted her words and instead addressed the singer as “mummy.”
The video has sparked tons of reactions on social media as netizens share differing opinions on the celebrity and her daughter’s exchange.
While several others were surprised by how much Adejare has grown and the fact that she can now speak clearly.
