Actor Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin, has taken to social media to console him following the burial of his late son.
Yul’s first son with his first wife, Kambilichukwu, died on March 30 after developing a seizure in school while playing football with his schoolmates and was recently laid to rest.
The actor, who just broke his silence a few days ago, nearly a month after the incident, took to his Instagram page yesterday to thank everyone for the love and support his family received during their grief.
“I thank you all for the condolence messages, condolence visits, calls, care, and prayers you all offered for my son and for my family. The love and concern have been overwhelming. I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you from the depths of my heart. May God bless you all abundantly. Thank you,” he wrote.
Moments after the post, Judy posted Yul’s photo on her Instagram page and showered him with praise, describing him as a great man.
She assured her husband that his life is in God’s hands, and He will lead him always.
She further noted that he’s a great man and great men face great challenges.
Her words, “Ezedike, you’re a great man. And great men face great challenges. Your life is in God’s hands. Trust that He will lead you always. Remain strong.”
Reacting to the post, Yul thanked his wife and referred to her as “Ijele Odogwu,” as he fondly calls her.
“Amen! Thank you, Ijele Odogwu,” he wrote.
