Afrobeat musician, Made Kuti has reacted after he and his father, Femi Kuti, were heavily criticized for allegedly abandoning his embattled uncle, Seun Kuti.
Recall that Seun was on Tuesday, May 16, arraigned before a Magistrate court sitting in Yaba, Lagos state, after a video of him assaulting a police officer went viral online.
Following the court hearing, some trolls apparently trooped to Femi Kuti’s Instagram page to drag him to filth for allegedly turning their backs on Seun during his trying time.
In response to the negative comments, Made took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself and his father in court as proof that they were there for Seun.
He also condemned having to share things online to prove his action to strangers on the internet.
Made wrote,
“At court yesterday.
I don’t like that we have to post things on social media to show/prove we’re doing everything we can as a family. But here you go.
Because of this many are cursing at us under my father’s last post, swearing at us for doing nothing. We must accept there’s much more to life than what we see on our phones.”
