Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has voiced her dismay about the deliberate attempt aimed at damaging her image by disparaging her new movie “Ijakumo.”

The mother of one, who is well-known for her outspoken support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, claimed that her support for the politician has resulted in significant backlash.

Toyin Abraham voiced her worries about the difficulties she has encountered because of her political affiliation in a series of tweets.

She especially referred to the emergence of WhatsApp discussion groups devoted to dissing her most recent film, “Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper,” which was just made available on Netflix.

Toyin Abraham expressed her displeasure by asking when endorsing a chosen candidate become a crime.

She wrote;

“You all went to create a Whatsapp group cos of Ijakumo the born-again stripper, pls continue maybe it’s today. I will kuku break the table. You all will tell the world why choosing my candidate is a crime and yours isn’t. Loni yi mo mura yin wa.”

In another tweet, the actress made it clear that the purpose of the WhatsApp group was to disparage her movie.

She added;

“Yes, their political Whatsapp group and plan to come and bad mouth my work cos of my choice. Today na today they will know that everyone has a devil inside him or her.”
