Popular actress, Eniola Badmus, has refused TikTok user Ego Okoye’s plea for forgiveness and insists on charging her to court for defamation.
Recall that Ego had accused the thespian of being a pimp who connects ladies to politicians in a viral video a few days ago.
She even went further to suggest that the actress had attempted to set up one of her friends with a politician at some point.
In an update, Eniola revealed that the lady had been arrested for the defamatory claim against her and is currently in custody.
During an Instagram live with media personality Daddy Freeze, Eniola shed more light on the matter. She explained that she initially reached out to the said lady via Direct Message, asking her to delete the defamatory video. However, the lady responded by telling her to shut up, which led to her arrest.
“When I reached out to her in her DM, pleading with her to take down the video and not tarnish her reputation, she told me to shut up. And then I called my lawyer and submitted the petition.”
Eniola Badmus vowed to ensure the lady faces consequences for defaming her character.
“Daddy Freeze, the thing is, I know myself not to be the type that puts many things on social media, but for this girl’s case, I will make sure she goes down. On social media, I barely reply to people, no matter what they say about me. I won’t reply to you (on social media) if you are not Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Jagaban (Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu), or his son; Seyi Tinubu. I can’t just reply to everyone.”
“I am the kind of person that does not get angry easily. People expect me to respond to what they say about me on social media, but the fact is that I don’t have so much time to reply to a whole lot of people. If I am not on stage, I will be busy with my numerous businesses,” she said.
