Nigerian gospel singer, Chidinma Ekile has seemingly refuted viral claims of dating her colleagues, Flavour and Kizz Daniel in the past.
You will recall that the ‘Kedike’ crooner was romantically linked with the two singers before switching from the secular music industry to the gospel genre.
However, in a recent interview on Channels TV programme ‘Rubbing Mind’, Chidinma denied dating both men at any point.
The 32-year-old singer, who choose not to go into details into her relationship with Flavour and Kizz Daniel, stated that such rumours are common in the showbiz world.
The show host, Isabella Adediji, asked, “You were confronted with a lot of accusations, talking about the whole Flavour, Kizz Daniel [dating rumours]. How do you navigate those rumours?”
In response, she said, “Well, stuff like that always happens in the [music] industry, I just try as much as possible to block out the noise and the distractions.”
Speaking on her plans for marriage, Chidinma stated that she is single and not under pressure to settle down.
“No pressure at all. When the time is right, it [marriage] will happen,” Chidinma said.
In 2020, Flavour also debunked the dating rumour in an interview with BBC Igbo. At the time, he stated that their relationship was purely professional.
