Popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has called out Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and vowed to see that the late musician Mohbad receives the justice he deserves.
Recall that the singer’s cause of death has generated much controversy, and Nigerian celebrities and fans have been calling for adequate investigations and justice.
In a recent Instagram live session, Iyabo Ojo urged Lagos state governor Sanwo-Olu to heed the youths’ pleas and act appropriately to find out what actually happened to Mohbad and bring his perpetrators—if any—to justice.
She stated that in order to ensure that the musician receives the justice he deserves, her organization would be writing to all pertinent authorities.
Iyabo Ojo revealed that he hasn’t been able to sleep since Mohbad’s passing and slammed his former record label boss, Naira Marley for the supposed condolence post and questions he also made.

In other news, Actress Esther Nwachukwu has stepped forward to defend singer Naira Marley, who has faced online criticism in the wake of the passing of his former protege, Mohbad.
In a video she shared on her social media page, Esther emphatically asserted that Naira Marley bears no responsibility for Mohbad’s demise. She further emphasized that Naira Marley’s only “offense” was extending support to Mohbad during his early days as an aspiring artist.
She also expressed disappoinment that a Public Figure like Mohbad was not given a befitting Burial, she also called on the Police to arrest the nurse who allegedly injected Mohbad and his friend who made a video of his lifeless body.
On the accusations his ex-label boss, Naira Marley is facing, Esther expressed, “Naira Marley does not have a hand in what happened to Mohbad. Naira Marley did not kill him. He only had issues with him.”
