Popular Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, known professionally as Ayra Starr, has taken a trip down memory lane as she expresses gratitude for her journey and progress.
In a post shared on her Instastory, the “Sabi Girl” crooner recounted how she used to sell vegetables and fruits with her grandmother on the roadside six years ago.
The 21-year-old sensational singer revealed that, at that time, she used to sing for anyone who cared to listen, and fortunately people now pay to watch her perform on global stages.
Ayra, who was discovered by the ace music executive Don Jazzy at 19 and subsequently signed to his record label Mavin Records, further expressed heartfelt gratitude to God and acknowledged the numerous blessings she has received.

“Will forever be grateful for where I am in my life, God really blessed me
6 years ago this used to be me selling 3 vegetables and fruits with my grandma, singing to whoever wanted to hear me. Now I people are paying to watch me perform”
