Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burnaboy, has thrown some shade at his colleague, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, popularly known as Brymo, in a recent freestyle.
Burna Boy, who is widely recognized nationally and internationally for his unique singing style and stage performances, was recently accused by Brymo of song theft.
Brymo had mentioned in an interview with TVC that Burna Boy often acts as if he is Jesus and accused him of stealing his song.
Brymo went further to express his frustrations on his Instagram page, alleging that Burna Boy’s songs, “City Boys” and “I Told Them,” sampled the title track of his unreleased album, “Macabre.”
Burna Boy has now responded to Brymo in a new freestyle, where he said, “Hustle make you no go fall off like Brymo.”
This has elicited various reactions, with majority of them expressing support for Burnaboy, while some asserted that Brymo deserves whatever he’s getting because he had been insulting Burna for way too long.
