Nigerian footballer, Asisat Oshoala, has criticized people who troop to her DM to seek financial assistance for mundane things.
The Barcelona striker, in a post shared on Snapchat, warned those individuals to apply common sense and set their priorities right.
She emphasized that while she helps people financially, she finds it weird when people request money for their wedding or when their wives give birth.
According to her, such people should use their initiative and plan ahead for those expenses instead of seeking help from her because she would never support such requests.
She wrote:
“While I enjoy having fun here, there are certain things that should be common sense. I help a lot of people here, but there are situations I won’t condone or support, such as ‘MY WIFE JUST GAVE BIRTH,’ ‘I WANT TO HAVE A WEDDING,’ and so on. Use your f*cking brain. Set your priorities right!!”
