Nigerian singer Naira Marley and his associate Sam Larry have made their first public appearance together since their release from prison.
It will be recalled that Naira Marley, whose real name is Azeez Fashola, and Sam Larry, real name Balogun Eletu, were arraigned and remanded in jail on October 6 over their alleged involvement in the death of Marlian Music former signee Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
Following the singer’s death, videos of Sam Larry seemingly harassing and assaulting him surfaced online, along with a clip of Mohbad saying Naira Marley should be held responsible if anything happens to him.
This sparked outrage among netizens who accused them of having a hand in Mohbad’s death and called on the police to investigate them.
In light of this, they were arrested and remanded in prison for over a month. They were eventually released after meeting their bail conditions on Thursday, November 17.
In a new update, a video of Naira Marley and Sam Larry, alongside Marlian singer Zinoleesky, spending time together has been shared online.
The men seemed to be in high spirits as they laughed and threw up hand signs before getting into a car.
