A man’s urgent plea for help has sent shockwaves through social media after raising an alarm over a suspected kidnapping incident in Victoria Island, Lagos on New Year’s Day.
In a series of videos posted on X, the concerned individual, One bishop khale captured a distressing scene where a woman appeared to be struggling to free herself from a black Pathfinder car on Ahmadu Bello Way.
Sharing the footage, he expressed his belief that the woman was being kidnapped and provided helpful details, including capturing the driver’s face and noting down the vehicle’s license plates.
The alarming incident quickly garnered attention and sparked concerns among netizens.
In his account, he shared his attempts to intervene and seek help. He called on area boys in the vicinity, hoping for their assistance in rescuing the woman.
However, they hesitated and before any action could be taken, the driver swiftly re-entered the car and drove away.
Determined to try his best in this situation, he decided to trail the vehicle throughout Victoria Island, desperately searching for a police officer to report the incident to.
Regrettably, no law enforcement officers were spotted along the route they followed.
Instead, the car changed its course, heading towards the 3rd mainland bridge.
As the tense situation continued, he remained vigilant, hoping for an opportunity to alert the authorities.
