Nigerian businesswoman and fashion connoisseur Sophia Momodu has reacted after a die-hard fan of her baby daddy, Davido, shamed her for allegdly flaunting a fake Hermes bag.
Sophia had taken to social media to share stunning photos of herself rocking a brown Hermes bag, but the troll identified as @hayce30bg decided to verify the authenticity of the bag by contacting the designer company.
He shared a screenshot of his chat with Hermes where he asked if Sophia’s handbag is the original version. In response, they sent a picture of their version of the bag, which looked similar to Sophia’s own.
Mocking Sophia for allegedly owning the fake version, Hayce30bg wrote,
“Please what’s the name and amount of that bag she carried on that her new MID picture she just posted??
“This is 2024 please SAY NO TO FAKE OUTFITS AND BAGS. 2024 and you still buying grade C fake Hermes from Aba store.”
“Hermes don burst her… Omg.”

Almost a week after the call-out, Sophia has gone online to reveal that Hermes contacted her to gift her some designer items.
She shared a video of the multiple gift boxes she reportedly received from Hermes. She also revealed that the troll’s chat with Hermes was fake and appreciated him for ‘launching her into destiny’.
However, it remains unclear if the Hermes bag was real or fake as she didn’t directly address the authenticity.
She wrote,
