The Super Eagles squad has made their triumphant return to Nigeria following their participation in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
Despite the disappointment of settling for the silver medal after a 2-1 defeat to the host nation, Ivory Coast, the team was welcomed back home with open arms.
On Wednesday morning, February 13, the squad arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to a hero’s welcome.
Leading the reception were the Honourable Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, and the President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Musa Gusau.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement and pride as fans, supporters, and well-wishers gathered at the airport to greet their beloved Super Eagles.
