Nigerian music superstar Burna Boy has lambasted his senior colleague in the music industry, Eedris Abdulkareem, for his comment about him.
This follows Eedris’s recent podcast session where he condemned Burna Boy for stating that nobody supported him in the music industry during his early days.
It will be recalled that in 2020, Burna Boy sparked controversy online after claiming that he received no assistance from his senior colleagues.
The Atlantic Records star expressed that nobody had ever supported him, as they were preoccupied with their own pursuits or criticizing other artists.
Evidently, Eedris was displeased with Burna Boy’s remarks and took the opportunity to express his disagreement, labeling the statement as ‘stupid talk.’
He said;
“You hear someone like Burna Boy say no one helped him in Nigeria. That’s stupid talk.”

Reacting to this, Burna Boy took to Twitter to slam the ‘jaga jaga’ crooner for his remarks, stating that he doesn’t blame him but rather blames the people who contributed financially to his healthcare when he needed a kidney transplant.
In the now deleted tweet, the self-styled African Giant wrote,
“Abdul Kareem Abi wetin dem dey call your papa, I no blame you. I blame people wey donate money for your hospital bills. And I wish say you be person wey fit dey enter the kind places wey I dey dey, make we use mistake jam.”
