Nigerian singer and songwriter, Oluwajuwonlo Iledare, professionally known as Jaywon replies Afrobeats singer Burna Boy for disclosing nobody laid the foundation for him in the entertainment industry.
Sharing in an interview with King of Talk, Jaywon stated that it is madness for Burna Boy to say no one paved the way for him.
He noted that the Afrobeats singer is talented but it is a wrong for him to say nobody inspired his music career. It is a bad attitude for Burna Boy to say nobody paved way for him and does that mean since his childhood nobody inspired him.
He recalled that Davido once gave the Afrobeats singer a 30BG necklace, which is a huge contribution to his career. He gave a similar instance that Burna Boy also gave Seyi Vibez a 7G necklace but Seyi Vibez will not come out tomorrow to say Burna Boy did not pave way for him.
He said
“Burna Boy has open doors for every Nigerian artiste that we can all go international, how will it sound if some kid wake up tomorrow and in ten years time and say… “
He explained people always give different meaning to inspiration and open doors; if somebody doesn’t do it first, where do people behind learn it from.
