A video capturing a bank customer’s emotional outburst after discovering his stolen bike outside a GTB branch, on lju Road, Fagba, in Lagos state, has sparked outrage among netizens online.
The emotional scene, shared on TikTok by user @adekunlepstar, shows the distressed customer pouring out his anguish at the entrance of the bank.
According to reports, the man had followed the security’s instructions and parked his bike securely before entering the bank for a transaction.
However, upon exiting, he was devastated to find that his bike had vanished without a trace.
Determined to find out what took place, he reported the incident to the bank, which reviewed the CCTV footage and confirmed the theft.
Adding to his frustration, two weeks passed without any action being taken by the bank to address the matter, prompting his public outcry captured in the viral video.
The video’s caption explained that the customer had diligently followed the bank’s parking instructions, only to be met with the theft upon leaving.
Despite the bank’s acknowledgment of the crime through CCTV evidence, the customer had received no communication or assistance regarding his stolen bike for the past two weeks.
