The mother of the Nigerian critic Vincent Martins Otse also known as VeryDarkMan has spoken out regarding the beef between her son and the Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo.
In a video VDM posted to his Instagram page, he was seen with his mother addressing the ongoing feud. The woman advised him to forgive Iyabo Ojo and put an end to it as it had gone on long enough.
Recall that this whole issue started when VDM accused Iyabo Ojo and a host of other celebrities of falsely claiming they were invited to Davido and Chioma’s wedding, and it only escalated from there.
The mother said;
“It doesn’t matter that she said she will slap me. You know when we talk of slap, just the way it is, anybody can just say anything out of anger but I believe she doesn’t really mean it because she’s a mother. How will you feel when somebody that your mother is far ahead of, or maybe your daughter, somebody that you are older than is sending a message through your daughter to you or your son sending a message to your mother that she will slap her, you should know that one is just out of it. Just forgive her. How will she slap me, she can’t.”
Netizens had a lot to say about the video as many believed that since VDM was the one who started it, it should be Iyabo Ojo forgiving him, not the other way around.
