Felabration is about to kick off, I’m sure most of us have been waiting for it. This year’s event series, according to the organisers, will hold from October 12 to 18, 2015.
Felabration is The annual anniversary of the death of Afrobeat king, Fela was the pioneer of the Afrobeat music genre, human rights activist, and political maverick.
The week-long event will feature the best of entertainers drawn from across Africa including Falz, Olamide, Iyanya, Tekno, Waje, Burna Boy, Kiss Daniel, and many more are billed to perform.
Felabration is the brainchild of Fela’s eldest child, Yeni Kuti, fondly referred to as YK. She conceived the concept in 2008, and since then, the event holds during the week of Fela’s birthday….
