Popular actor, Chidi Mokeme has expressed how hurt he was when the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, deleted his tweet condemning the killing of Deborah Samuel.
It would be recalled that on Thursday, May 12, Deborah was stoned to death and set ablaze by her colleagues who accused her of blasphemy at the Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto.
Her death stirred an uproar on the internet and Nigerians heavily criticized the barbaric act. Atiku also took to his verified Twitter page to condemn the killing.

After some persons, mostly Northern Muslims, slammed and threatened not to vote for him in the forthcoming election because he spoke against the lynching, Atiku deleted the tweet and said he did not approve for it to be posted.
Recounting the incident in a video shared on his Instagram page today, October 11, Chidi Mokeme broke into tears and said he was deeply hurt by Atiku’s action and didn’t expect him to cower to the heat.
