British-Nigerian actor, David Oyelowo has shared a video of the emotional moment his children surprised him on his birthday.
The actor turned 47 on Saturday, April 1, and his wife surprised him by having their four sons pay him a surprise visit at his location.
David was beyond shocked to see his children in his house on his birthday morning and began crying uncontrollably at the sight of them.
His kids, who came in singing the popular ‘happy birthday’ song, then gave him a group hug to console him, but he couldn’t hold back his tears and continued weeping profusely.
The celebrated actor posted the video on his Instagram page and revealed how much the visit meant to him.
“The hardest thing about being a working actor for me is being away from my family so on this day, this is the best birthday gift and surprise imaginable. What a way to wake up. I love my babies,” he wrote.
