Nollywood actor, Oluwaferanmi Adeyemi, popularly known as Yhemo Lee, has lampooned his colleagues over their reactions to American rapper, 50 Cent’s planned movie on Hushpuppi.
Recall that the rapper announced his plans to produce a movie about the life of Hushpuppi, a convicted Nigerian felon, on Wednesday, November 9.
He shared pictures throwing it back to when Hushpuppi was living a flamboyant lifestyle and in his caption, wrote, “For my scammers, I gotta do this one. Hushpuppi series coming soon…”
Some Nollywood actors trooped to the comment section to indicate interest in playing the role of the convicted fraudster.
Reacting to the comments, Yhemo Lee, in a post shared on his Instatory, slammed his colleagues for their hypocrisy and clownery.
According to him, some of them heavily criticized Hushpuppi for bringing shame to the country and now they want to portray his role in a potentially global movie and bring even more shame to Nigeria.
He wrote,
“You lots were in comment sections dragging the hell out of him, talmbout how he tarnished the image of Nigerians but you now want to audition to play his character to tarnish the Nigerian image evn more just cos it’s 50 cent that’s producing the movie.
lol you people are really smelling
Bunch of ass lickers”

It was earlier reported that former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, codemned the proposed movie.
Reno believed that the rapper could make a movie about notable people in the country instead and took to his Facebook account to share his displeasure.
In his words;
“Not impressed by 50 Cents planned movie on Hushpuppi. It will further tank Nigeria’s already battered image. Many positive things come out of Nigeria, like Dr. Oluyinka Olutoye, the first man to successfully perform surgery on an unborn baby outside its mother’s womb, and restore it back in its mum’s womb after the procedure. Do a movie about those!
If 50 Cent really wants to do a movie about fraud, then he should consider doing one on Bernie
