Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo has shared how she lost a movie role because she decided to breastfeed her child.
According to the mother of two, she was compelled to leave the set of a television series after the production had delayed in shooting its last scene, and her mother kept calling her to come home to attend to her child.
She recalled her mother complaining about the baby not wanting to sleep even after they had given her all the milk. Beverly said she had no option than to go home to breastfeed her baby.
Unfortunately, a week later Beverly said she received a call from a colleague who told her that her role had been taken because she told the producer that she was going to breastfeed her baby.
The actress made this shocking revelation in a recent interview with Naa Ashorkor.
