Nigerian actress, Carol King, has taken to social media to call out her househelp who allegedly absconded with $700 and €40.
Carol King identified the househelp as Glory Effiong, stating that she went AWOL (absent without official leave) after working for five months.
Sharing photos of the househelp, the Nollywood star wrote,
“This is Glory Effiong. She has been my maid for five months. She left for her day off last Friday. When she didn’t return today as she was supposed to, I became worried and tried calling her, but she didn’t answer my calls.
“I promptly contacted the agent who introduced her to me to inform him that she was AWOL. I suddenly remembered having a bad dream about her, which I shared with my husband, and it aroused my suspicion. So, I went to her room and discovered that she had taken all her belongings.
“While searching for what she might have stolen, I found that she had taken $700 and €40 from my purse. Please remember her face, so you won’t become a victim of her thievery.”
