The annual Halloween festival held on Sunday October 31, in many countries around the world and some Nigerian celebrities also joined the celebration.
An Halloween party themed ‘Demon Tune’ was organized in Lagos state and Nigerian stars had the opportunity to show off their creative costumes which has now stirred mixed reactions online.
Reality TV stars, Angel, Khloe, Kim Oprah, and others attended the event and recreated looks of different movie characters.

Reacting to this, some netizens have now taken to social media to criticize them for celebrating Halloween, which in all fairness is not a recognized festival in Nigeria. According to them, Nigerians are copy-cats and would jump on any trend pioneered by Western countries.
Others stated that they should have recreated costumes of African legends, instead of foreign movie characters and heros.
