Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buahri has called for Nigerians to pray for the nation.
She made this appeal via her verified Instagram account on Wednesday, November 11.
The First Lady’s call for prayers for the Federal Republic of Nigeria is coming in the wake of serial events following the youth’s uprising against police brutality and bad governance.
She shared a photo of a burning candle with an Islamic quote, using the hashtag #PrayforNigeria.

In other news, Aisha Buhari said the global COVID-19 pandemic is a sign that God is not happy with humans.
She made the statement during Friday prayers at the National Mosque in Abuja, The Cable reports.
The First Lady of Nigeria addressing attendees at the 60th independence day public lecture and special Juma’at prayer held at the mosque, called on Nigerians to pray to God for the end of the deadly virus.
Aisha Buhari said: “The world is no longer the same as a result of the pandemic and the pandemic is a sign that almighty God is not happy with us.
“We need to pray for forgiveness. I think we have no choice than to continue asking for forgiveness from Almighty Allah.”
