Super Eagles and Arsenal player, Alex Iwobi is facing a barrage of criticism for mocking a fellow black man during Arsenal’s 3-0 victory against Rennes in the Europa League.
Alex Iwobi was slammed by social media users who felt he was disrespectful to the fellow black player during the course of the game.
Alex Iwobi was deemed to have insinuated that the Rennes player had mouth odor by covering his nose in disgust and backing away when he tried to speak to him.
While some found it amusing, Nigerians and other black people on Twitter have criticized the footballer for it.
