Marvel Studios on Monday August 31, paid an emotional tribute to late actor, Chadwick Boseman, who passed away after battling colon cancer for four years.
Following the announcement of the death of Boseman, who played the legendary role of king T’Challa in Black Panther, much-loved superheroes for Marvel Studios took to social media to express grief at the death of the ‘Black Panther‘ star.
The official Twitter handle of Marvel Studio then later released a video, showing Chadwick Boseman’s journey and it was an emotional one that pulled at Twitter users’ heartstrings.
“You will always be our King,” read the caption.

Boseman died on Friday after a four year battle with colon cancer.
A statement posted on the actor’s Instagram account said the actor had been diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer in 2016, which had progressed to Stage IV. According to the statement, he died in his home, with his wife and family by his side.
“It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman,” the statement said.
“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much,” the statement said. “From ‘Marshall’ to ‘Da 5 Bloods,’ August Wilson’s ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’ and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.
