World Day of Prayer for Peace, which witnessed the participation of over 450 religious leaders of different faiths was on Sept 20, yesterday, concluded in Assisi, Italy.
Among the religious leaders was Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II, who met with Pope Francis. The duo are pictured shaking hands with the Emir looking quite excited.
The 3-day is an event where religious leaders of different faiths gather to pray for peace and strengthen dialogue in the spirit of Assisi.
