Pastor Femi Lazarus

Nigerian clergyman Femi Lazarus has stated that people who troll and make negative comments about others on social media are not from good homes.

He made this statement during a recent sermon in his church, emphasizing that those who habitually attack others online lack proper upbringing and fail to realize the weight of their words.

He cited the example of a troll who called the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, a ‘fool’ despite the clergyman being a octogenarian.

According to him, if certain insults are not too heavy to be uttered by someone, it indicates a lack of good home training.

His words,

“You will never find someone from a good home drag anyone on social media. There is pain. Look at the weight of words. A young boy is calling Adeboye a fool. Look at the weight. Where did you learn it? What happened to your childhood? What happened to your heart? Words are heavy. When it is no longer heavy in your heart, something is wrong with the heart. It’s recycling of pain.”

His statement has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some agreeing with him while others expressed disagreement.
